The Greenwood Cemetery Foundation is an independent philanthropic organization whose mission is to provide financial support for the maintenance and upkeep of Greenwood Cemetery. The organization has no affiliation with Greenwood Cemetery Association, Inc., Unionburg Greenwood Cemetery Committee, Inc., Greenwood Cemetery Property, Inc., Greenwood Cemetery Tifton, Greenwood Cemetery Club, or the Greenwood Cemetery Restoration Project. All contributions made to the Foundation will be managed by its Board of Trustees.
We are a newly formed Nonprofit Organization with the sole purpose of
providing charitable and educational services to restore, preserve, and maintain
Greenwood Cemetery’s grounds, monuments, structures, and
historical sites for the benefit of the public and future generations.

Greenwood Cemetery is in need of help in all forms:
- If you are available to volunteer your labor and time for upkeep of the Cemetery, please email us at admin@greenwoodcemeteryfoundation.org. We will connect you to the appropriate persons who lead those efforts.
- You may donate funds year-round to the Capital Campaign Fundraiser.
At this time, individual graves are not mapped via GPS. You may be able to locate your loved one by
using the search feature on the Find a Grave® website.
While there are currently no official/written rules regarding planting trees or shrubs, they are strongly discouraged because their roots will affect the burial vaults underground.
A single lot, while an estate lot varies in size and can be large enough to accommodate multiple generations of one family.
Families should work with funeral homes to determine if single lots are available in
Greenwood Cemetery.
